Break Away Spirits, Inc. is an importer, wholesaler and distributor of premium tequila. We own and operate our own distillery in Jamay Jalisco Mexico. Our distillery, “Compania Destiladora” is nestled in the rolling hills and meadows next to the famous Lake Chapala, Mexico’s largest body of fresh water. The natural beauty of the land along with its temperate weather provides the Blue Weber Agave (plant which tequila is made from) to flourish. Once the plants have matured (7-12 years), we hand select only the choicest plants with the highest sugar content. From there we harvest the pinas (core or heart of the plant) and bring them to our distillery to start the production and distillation of our award winning tequilas…Since we are vertically integrated- Producer, Importer and Distributor. We are able to reduce the retailers cost by eliminating the middle man. We feel that everybody deserves quality tequila and that quality tequila should be accessible to a larger market.
