ABEL VALDEZ
Abel Valdez is a student at the University of California, San Diego. He is currently in his third year with a double major in Theatre and Dance. He has been casted in The House of Bernarda Alba and The Revenger’s Tragedy. In addition, he is a ballroom and latin dancer/ competitor. His favorite type of dance is Salsa. He likes meeting people from all around the world and helping others through his community.

CANDICE WILKES
Candice Wilkes, originally from Beaumont, Texas, moved to sunny California in 1999 to be closer to family. She currently works as an Account Manager with a firm located in North County. There, she works with financial advisers and focuses on daily data, processing, reconciliation, and other support services such as reporting and billing. When not working as an Account Manager, she attends University of Phoenix to obtain her BA in Business Management, as she aspires to one day have her own business.
In her spare time she loves going to the beach, watching a good movie, and spending time with family and friends. She is interested in modeling industry as a hobby and is determined to excel in everything she does.
CHANTEL JOHNSON
Chantel is a 20 year old student attending San Diego Mesa College, with plans to transfer To San Diego State. She is currently studying broadcasting journalism. She was born in California, but has lived in Chicago since she was 3 years old. She made it a goal to come back to California and fell in love with beautiful San Diego.
Some of her interests include playing acoustic and electric guitar, wakeboarding, snowboarding, modeling, volunteer work, and traveling. Chantel has had her passport since she was 3 years old, and has traveled all over the world. She has been involved with Best Buddies and Make a Wish Foundation– a foundation that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.
She has also competed in the Miss Teen Illinois USA pageant and placed 3rd runner up. She plans on competing in the Miss California USA pageant this year.
Chantel is looking forward to doing more charity work, striving to be a better person, helping out in her community, and representing the D-Lux dolls with great pride and enthusiasm.
EMMA BAKER
Emma Baker is a confident, principled, self-motivated, ambitious and free-spirited 18 year old graduate of Poway High School who now attends Palomar College in San Diego. She works part-time at her father’s business and for two years has been dipping her feet into the world of modeling and fashion. Emma was prompted to compete and WON the 2010 MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® pageant by her desire to meet new performance challenges and to forge new paths on her journey to self-discovery.
Becoming MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA 2010 has strengthened Emma’s personal vision.
She looks forward to the opportunities ahead, especially her role to represent the state of California in the 2010 MISS TEEN USA® pageant, in August. Aside from her personal ambitions, she intends to make lasting connections with people in the California community through appearances and charity work.
Emma understands that personal growth and empowerment come from taking risks and meeting challenges directly—being able to perform in life authentically every day as herself is Emma’s secret to her success.

JASMINE HESTER
Jasmine Hester currently resides in Temecula, California. She attended Orange Glen High School in Escondido, California. Recently at the age of 21, Jasmine obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. Additionally, she plans on receiving a Masters degree in clinical psychology.
During her college career she developed a passion for acting, which eventually opened the door to singing and modeling opportunities. Jasmine has been featured in independent films such as Sixguns, as well as playing the character of Kai in the play production “A Vow to Love.” She is currently signed with the Jerry Pace Agency (SAG).
She joined the D-Lux Dolls because she felt they pride themselves not only in their modeling talent, but also in giving back to the community through many charitable events, fitting in line with her own extra curricular activities. Jasmine volunteers at Operation Safehouse, which is a group home for troubled adolescents. At Operation Safehouse, she helps with supervising and the counseling of children. Jasmine Hester is a talented, compassionate, and driven young woman, who hopes to continue to express herself through singing, modeling, and acting. Welcome to the team.
JESSICA GERHARDT
Jessica Gerhardt is a 21 year old student at San Diego Mesa College with plans to transfer to USD. She is currently studying Business Administration / Accounting (she loves math). She’s lived in San Diego her whole life and loves it. Her favorite things to do are going to the beach and camping.
She is excited to have been selected for this new opportunity, to get out there and have some new experiences. Additionally, Jessica looks forward to being involved with the community. She thinks it’s important to give something back to society especially if you’ve been blessed in your own life.
JOE STOCK
Joe Stock is very new to the business but radiates as a natural. He enjoys life and loves to be around people. He has a very outgoing personality and loves being the center of attention. Joe dabbles in everything, from martial arts to salsa dancing, to rapping. He is a single and proud father of two boys, Elijah and Ethan. They are his pride and joy and what he considers the love of his life. His kids keep him young at heart.
Born and raised in Southern California, he knows his way around town. He shows much enthusiasm in being a part of the D-Lux team. Welcome Joe!
JOEL HADDOCK
Joel Haddock is a 24 year old Pennsylvania native. He graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurial Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He was a student athlete throughout college, competing in Football and Track & Field.
He has always wanted to live in California and so 11 months ago he decided to pack his car and drive cross country to sunny San Diego. He’s enjoyed living here so far, being able to travel home from time to time to visit family. He loves meeting new people and taking on new tasks.

KARA RITTER
Kara Ritter is one of our newest D-Lux dolls. She is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology who is currently pursuing her certification as a paralegal at USD. Meanwhile she works as a legal assistant in a downtown firm.
While living in L.A. , the fashion scene sparked an immediate passion for Kara. She dappled in runway and print modeling after graduating. Upon meeting with Meeshie and discovering D-Lux’s mission, she was immediately drawn in. She is passionate about helping others and being a support for anyone she can.
In her spare time, you will find Kara at the gym, with family, or out with friends. She enjoys running, cycling, baking, the holidays, dancing, and having a great time!
KIMBERLY LOLA
If you live in Southern California, you’ve probably run into this supermodel-esque social butterfly. If not then you’ve definitely seen her picture. And you’ll be seeing a lot more of Kimberly Lola as the months pass. That’s because this singer/songwriter/dancer/model/…everything else is building her empire.
A music major at California State University, San Marcos, Kimberly wrote, produced, and even composed music as part of her curriculum. The more people complimented her on her music writing skills, the more she wrote. “English was always one of my best subjects in school. Little did I know, it translates to writing music, not just essays.”
MARJORIE GUNDERT
Marjorie Gundert is a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she studied Chemical Engineering. She is currently working at a biotechnology company, and hopes to further jumpstart her career as a chemical engineer. She loves the sciences, but finds her muse in dancing. She has danced throughout her life, training in tap, jazz, contemporary, and ballet, and has recently ventured into hip hop. In her free time, she also enjoys developing her photography and art skills.
Within this year, Marjorie will be competing in the Miss California Pageant. She is inspired to compete because she wants to be a role model for other young women, and she ultimately hopes that this competition will provide more opportunities to help others who seek guidance.
Above all other passions, Marjorie loves people, spending time with family, developing friendships, and sharing in others’ lives. She wishes to contribute her time, energy, and talents to helping those that are in need. She ardently desires to be an influential person in this world so that she can help support charities, and therefore, the people who don’t have the resources or opportunities to care for themselves and their families.
SABRINA MULLER
Sabrina Muller is currently a senior at UCSD, majoring in Economics and minoring in Psychology. Had it been up to her, she’d be traveling the world taking pictures and writing stories –poetry to be specific. She has a great love for photography and writing, but would also say she has multiple passions, or as someone once said, “passionettes.”
She loves the outdoors and spends most of her time by the beach. Whether it be studying or relaxing, she’s always by the ocean. Her goal is to become a photographer, or perhaps a travel writing-marketing-planning guru. She has big goals, but is getting there with small steps and sometimes huge leaps.
STACIA O’SHEA
With just a year of modeling experience under her belt, Stacia O’Shea has worked with companies such as Lost Energy, Bloomingdales, HER Energy, and will appear in the July/ August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Although she is proud of herself for her accomplishments, Stacia has many more aspirations when is comes to modeling and with the support of her agencies: Models International in Beverly Hills, No Ties Management in San Diego, Central Casting for (acting), and now D-Lux Dolls– nothing can get in her way.
Runway, print, catalog, and swim wear are only a few of the types of modeling Stacia enjoys. From the words of her Beverly Hills Agency “Keep an eye out for Stacia O’Shea!”
STACY BROOKE
Stacey Brooke was born and raised in San Diego, CA and still finds the city just as beautiful as ever. A beach bunny to the core, she attended the University of California at San Diego to stay close to the shore while studying Economics and Communications. Since graduating she has been focusing on her career in sales and marketing, but enjoys modeling and promotions on the side as a way to meet people and experience new places. She has a love for swimwear, red wine, and street bikes, and can often be found collaborating with other R&B/Hip Hop vocalists.
